UNFOLD prioritises for key principles to further your dance training, and better prepare you for the professional world;
Ballet/Acro
Our UNFOLD Company places a strong emphasis on classical ballet and acro training, offering dancers a clear and supportive pre‑professional pathway.
This allows dancers to immerse themselves in their individual goals.
Choreography
UNFOLD dancers will work with industry professionals to explore different styles and develop confidence and performance skills for stage and camera.
Parents will receive class footage to help dancers review their work and track progress.
Technique and Conditioning
Develop the strength, control and physical understanding needed for advanced technique.
Training focuses on alignment, stability, flexibility and core strength to build a strong foundation for high-level performance.
Company Class
Company class combines creative movement, improvisation and professional choreography, giving dancers experience in rehearsing for both camera and stage.
The finished piece will be professionally filmed and performed at our annual AD Showcase.

Timetable
Term 1 will run from September - January, and term 2 will run from February - June.
UNFOLD JUNIORS (P4 - P7): 9AM - 1.30PM
UNFOLD SENIORS (Y8+): 10.45AM - 3.15PM

UNFOLD Producer
Paige Richardson
As Producer of UNFOLD Pre-Professional Company and a full-time teacher at Active Dansa, Paige teaches Ballet, Pointe, Jazz, Lyrical, and Contemporary dance.
Before beginning her professional training, Paige completed all BBO Ballet examinations and trained extensively across a variety of dance styles. In Northern Ireland, she worked with English Youth Ballet and Maiden Voyage before continuing her training at the Liverpool Institute for Performing Arts (LIPA), where she graduated with a First Class BA (Hons) in Dance.
Throughout her training and professional career, Paige has had the opportunity to work with a wide range of industry professionals and perform across both stage and screen.
Passionate about nurturing the next generation of artists, Paige is dedicated to sharing her experience, knowledge and love of dance. Through her teaching, she encourages students to develop both their technical skills and their confidence as performers and creatives.
Students will work with Paige during company class.
Alongside Paige, our UNFOLD company members will benefit from training alongside various industry professionals as guest teachers each month.
